Door chiptuning worden de motor prestaties verbeterd. Het geeft een toename van acceleratie-, topsnelheid en koppel. U merkt vooral verschil in de tussenacceleraties van 80 tot 150 km/h. Door dat u een hoger koppel heeft ( trekkracht ) kunt u ook zuiniger en comfortabeler rijden. U hoeft minder brandstof te verbruiken en minder te schakelen om de zelfde acceleratie als voorheen te maken.
